Michael B serviced our lawn today and addressed all my concerns regarding bare spots, lack of greens and numerous spots of weeds. We have a St Augustine lawn and due to my busy schedule, we have offloaded our lawn application duties to Turner Pest for the past year and a half. Our next door neighbor have thick, green and luscious St Augustine while ours is barely clinging on to the little green it has left. The neighbor used to have similar lawn to my current one due to neglect by tenants, but they now offloaded chemical applications to a different competitor. After 1½ years, their lawn became a sea of deep green, while mine became much worse. Honestly, I think I did a much better job when I did all chemical applications myself the first 2½ years. I don't know if this has to do with how careful the application was or if its because of a switchup in techs each visit. Some times I could not even get a visit at all, but still have the automatic monthly payment going for their "every-other-month" visit. Literally paid money for no service. Although the lawn is now about to enter dormancy, our new tech Michael assured us that with the application today and his consistent followups, we could already see some significant improvements in about a month. Tech Michael is confident that he can produce the same results, and I intend to hold him to that. Chemical applications take time and I know this first hand. We're looking forward to having Michael continue followups to ensure by next season, our Saint Augustine grass is as thick and as green as possible. Hopefully this time around, we continue to have Michael as our sole tech, and that we don't miss any more service dates. Turner Pest, your tech Michael B has retained me with you guys for another year. Will post before and after pictures by the end of next season, along with an updated review below.

If we see a problem like sugar ants or palmetto bug, we know we can call and they will schedule us quickly for an extra treatment - but that is very rare. I’ve been using TURNER pest control for the past five years and I am very satisfied with them, especially with their technician DeAndre, who has been absolutely the best that I have dealt with With that company or others. He is very thorough careful and deliberate in doing his inspection and then treatment. I watched him and I was pretty shocked that he really takes it seriously he just walk around my house acting as if he’s looking. He’s actually looking intensely to see where any problems are. I was watching him from across the street while I was walking my dogs and he didn’t see me because I was behind a car and I was like, wow that guy is really doing it. After he’s done, he explains what he’s done what he’s found and I’m telling you he’s a pro and a great guy to deal with.

We had little to no compensation and decided to go with Massey who we had a much better experience with in previous years. Have been satisfied enough with their service to keep them all this time, if that tells you anything. However, the purpose of this review is to give recognition to one of their employees that came out this morning to do the 10-year Termidor HP application. Richard Gagnon was professional, polite, courteous, and really took the time to explain the process and answer all questions. I've never had a bad experience with a Turner employee and have been pleased with anyone that I've ever worked with. However, my positive experience with Richard compelled me to take a few minutes out of my day to write this review. He's an awesome young man and if these are the "next generation" employees of the company, Turner's in great hands!

Our yard has never looked better. Technicians are very professional. After reading some of the negative reviews on Turner, I decided to beef up my review. We have been in our home for 25 years and have used several other pest control companies in Jacksonville before settling on Turner about 7 years ago. Turner is by far the best – regarding results, professional technicians, customer service, etc. Other companies constantly bothered us with phone calls to add additional services. Other companies sent out unqualified unfriendly technicians and used inferior products. Other companies pay no attention to requests and complaints. Turner is very concerned about customer satisfaction. No company is going to be perfect and I try not to judge a company on one bad employee. I am sure employee turnover is a problem for all pest control companies, but Turner does a good job keeping employees properly trained and responding to customer feedback. We have used 4 other pest control companies and are most satisfied with Turner. No company can completely eliminate weeds and bugs in Florida, but Turner does the best (by far) that we have found. Our lawn is beautiful. I will try to post a picture. Finally, keep in mind that normally only dissatisfied customers take to the internet to complain. There are MANY more satisfied Turner customers that unhappy ones. Happy customers don't normally bother to write reviews.

Turner Pest Control has been helping us protect our home for the last few years. The first interaction wasn't the greatest. The technician that came over was a temp and didn't even diagnose that I had brown widows in my garage. That freaked me out especially when I have little kids. They quickly sent another technician over - Michael Steinman who is such a life saver and totally changed the experience from negative to extremely positive!! Michael didn't just take care of my house. He offered his cell phone number for me to call after I came home from work. It was totally out of my expectation for him to stay on the phone with me for an hour on a Friday evening after his normal work hours explaining to me what happened and answering all of my questions. Ever since then, I never have to be concerned about any pest issues at my house. Michael always responds to our concerns right away and addresses them professionally and perfectly. Michael is so knowledgeable about what he does. Sometimes I wonder how he could remember all of it. He makes it so easy for us! We love him and he is the reason why we are staying with Turner Pest Control!!

Our home builder in '99, not the greatest, used this company for the initial termite treatment and bond so I continued with them initially just to renew the bond every year. When our house was about 10 year old the initial treatment expired so I could chose any company to re-treat our home and get a new bond. I stayed with Turner because the same gentleman comes to our home every year to inspect for any signs of termites when our bond in renewed. He is wonderful with my curious and highly inquisitive sons. The one time I saw a few dead swarmers in my window sill they came out immediately and treated. Their prices are competitive and service is outstanding. The fact that over the 17 year period we've been in our home, we've had the same technician tells you they treat their employees right also. I highly recommend this company :-)!

There have been times where we have had some critters show up inside and outside and they always responded to our calls within a few hours outside our normal service time. Spiders, our nemesis, were constantly making appearances but since Turner made a special trip out here we haven't seen a live arachnid since! Black Widows are scary!! I was referred to TPC by a friend, as we are new to the area and our house, so I had high expectations. i know "things happen", but I can't tolerate promises with no communication follow up. He came out as promised & was very helpful and informative. Very nice guy. As he was leaving, he even volunteered some contacts to help with the move, and indicated that if we "needed anything" to give him a call, and he could probably help. He promised his contact info and a quote, along with the referrals he promised, by email that evening. No email. I even called the office when I was ready for the moving help and asked to have him call me, indicating to the receptionist that I had never gotten the quote or referral info. No call back. No communication? No follow thru? No business. No positive review.
