If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I have been a customer of Turner Pest Control for several years (2015 - present) and I have not had any issues. However, I moved to St Augustine from Jacksonville in 2019 and the service seemed great at first (aside from ear wigs and silverfish constantly taking up residence in my home), but about a month and a half ago I started seeing swarms of sugar ants coming into my house from outside. I talked to other pest control professionals and they agreed that this shouldn't be happening, because the exterior is being sprayed regularly. I decided to contact Turner about having a technician come out to my home to do an interior service, thinking that this might help with the problem. Every time I open a ticket through their website, it is marked as "resolved" without any communication with me, the homeowner. The first time, I didn't even know that they had done this until I went to check up on it and saw it was marked "resolved". Then a technician shows up at my house while I'm at work and calls me telling me he's there to do an interior spray. Again, I was not contacted to be informed of this or approve this time slot. The technician gave me his phone number and told me to get with him to circumvent their corporate nonsense and schedule for a time that would be convenient for me and my fiance. So I called him and scheduled a time when my fiance would be home, but I would be at work. This was scheduled for a Monday between 10 and 11 AM. At about 10:45, my fiance calls me and asks if it was still scheduled. My response of course was, "Nobody has shown up yet?". So I call the technician and he tells me that I'm not on his route and that it was given to another technician, but that he would call that technician and have that technician call my fiance to coordinate. I was at work, so I just assumed that this was being handled. My fiance calls me about 11:30 and asks if I can reschedule it, as he had plans that day. I asked, "Did nobody call you?". Of course they didn't. So I told my fiance to just go about his day and do what he needs to do, and if someone shows up late without communicating that to us, then they would just have to eat it. So I sent the original technician, whom I'd been communicating with, a text message to ask about the SNAFU and he tells me that they never scheduled an appointment, but that he was on his way and would be there in 20 mins. At this point, it was like 11:45. I told him not to bother and that I would call a different company, which I did and they are wonderful. Since then, I was charged again for my service and all tickets I open to try to get my account cancelled are marked, "resolved". All I want now is for my account to be cancelled. I would love a refund, but I would settle for just having my account cancelled. Apparently that's too much to ask, so I am in an ongoing battle with them just to get my account cancelled. I cannot say that I would wish this stress upon my enemies, let alone anyone just looking for a decent pest control company. To reiterate, I DO NOT recommend this pest control company to ANYONE!
