Constantly a bad or ok experience with turner. Today the rep did a great job cleaning the spider webs that collected on my wages but threw the granular pesticide on top of my Christmas lawn inflatables that I'm trying to put in storage now.

I want to say their service has become average at best. They use to have the best service and quality products. I’ve been using them since 2012 and when I moved to South Florida in 2018, I was happy when they started to provide service there. I am now back in Jacksonville and I have been using them since July the quality is bad. Weeds are towing rampant and the techs don’t seem to know their stuff like they use to. Not sure what’s going on but I’m looking for a new service provider with better quality. It’s not like Turner is cheap.

3 stars overall for pest control and termite bond. Intermittent visits for pest control and they never sweep the eves around the outside lights where bugs gather. As for today's visit for our annual termite inspection, it was great, Jim was excellent 👍. Professional and knowledgeable, didn't try to sell me more services or anything either which is a plus! He was on time and his inspection was thorough but completed quickly so it didn't tie up half my day.

I wish I was notified ahead when they would arrive. I have concerns I would like to discuss with them. The only way I know they were there is the sign in my yard.. Price has really increased monthly.

Turner is inconsistent. I use them at my personal home and have had terrific service. Nothing but wonderful, wonderful things to say about the technicians and the results. However, I also use Turner’s commercial services at my nonprofit’s two buildings and have had a horrible experience. Multiple rescheduled appointments, unanswered email communications, their invoicing has been spotty and also incorrect, and I’ve tried contacting their customer service twice about our poor technician experience and got zero response. We signed a contract with them but haven’t seen nor heard from them again. It’s as if they simply disappeared and decided not to continue service for us without telling us. These issues have been ongoing since Sept. 2023 and it is now May 2024. Awarding three stars because of the GREAT residential service, but subtracting two because of poor commercial service. EDIT: as a result of the below response from the company, I emailed the provided email address AND the general customer service email address both on 5/30/24. Today is 7/5/24 and I have still not received a response.

We have had Turner pest control since we moved into this house in 2019. Our satisfaction has varied from very average to sorely lacking. We have talked about looking for a new service but haven’t gotten around to it. We had a new technician today and he completely changed my mind! This is the first time that I felt truly confident in the service we received. He was professional and so thorough. His name is Larry Smith and I intend to request him as our regular technician! He was awesome!

Confused, currently a Turner customer, buying a new (To me) home and called Turner for a quote on the termite bond. Clerk explained she had to set up a whole new account and not utilize my current one, I said ok but could someone call me back so I didn’t have to sit on phone. She didn’t answer but responded it will just take a minute, waited and she came back to give me appointment and scheduled it out 2 weeks, told her I didn’t want to wait that long for a price, she said ok and conversation ended. Don’t know the owner but if this is your marketing, good luck. Having said that at my current home the service delivery has been nothing but professional. Maybe they just have too much demand.

Mr. Snyder - We certainly apologize for the confusion. With our termite plan, we do have to send a field inspector in order to provide accurate pricing because they have to take measurements and make sure there isn't any existing termite damage. As for scheduling two weeks out, that was a mistake on our customer service reps behalf. A lot of technicians were on vacation for the holidays but she should have checked with a manager to move schedules around to get you in on the 27th or 28th. We have gone over this with her as a training opportunity but we apologize that we weren't able to get to you faster. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way, we truly value your business and would love to help you with your new home.

Professor Truth

I have lived in Jacksonville Florida for a few years now. Upon arrival, literally as our cable was being set up after moving across the country, I saw an advertisement for Turner pest control on the television. I quickly jotted down a note to call them later that day. I have been very happy, with the exception of one incident, with their services over the years up until now. That is the reason I am not giving 1 or 2 stars, because this situation arose only in the last 3-4 months of service. Now it seems they have changed technicians for our area and the quality has really went down hill. I am now even seeing insects I never saw before - it is like no treatment is being done at all. It's like they may as well be spraying water. The other techs we had in the past were efficient and friendly. They would explain things well and were thorough. EXAMPLES OF BAD SERVICE: This new guy knocked down some wasps 'mud piles' not sure what they are called- the dark gray globular things and left all the debris everywhere. He didn't sweep it away into the grass or anything - it was a huge mess right at our front door. I didn't see it until it was too late - it got tracked in the house. Gross. Another issue is that he supposedly sprayed and what not but I mostly saw him just standing around. I didn't watch him the entire time however, to be fair. We called about a spider issue - they came out, still saw them - even after the allotted time frame to give it a minute. Yes, I didn't see as many, but way more than we'd ever seen before. We called about seeing roaches - never saw roaches before and I keep a clean home. No food lying around, trash piled up etc. The insects continue to thrive in our home. Now, there are these strange long black beetle/earwig things taking over. That's the final straw. This guy has been out here 3-4 times, and this is the WORST I have ever seen our bug situation since living here and even when we moved into a house that had been vacant for many months. Before, with their service, I'd see something 1-2 times a week, at best. Never any roaches, either! Ewww! Now it is multiple times in one day that I will see something, and I'm certain I am not even seeing the half of it and I can't take it anymore. It is unfortunate, but since he is the tech assigned to our area I am now searching for a new pest control service. I called over the weekend to have a manager call me. I missed a call - I am assuming it was the manager several days later, but they never tried to call back. I'm done. Will be hiring someone else in the next couple of days. UPDATE 2: We went with another company. Problem that we've been dealing with for over 3-4 months with Turner was literally solved in 48 hrs. with new company. It's been over 3 weeks and I have not seen anything anymore. The new company saw immediately what the problem was, validated my concerns and took in depth measures to make our home safe, but inhospitable to these insects. It is so amazing and refreshing, we don't have to worry about being freaked out in the middle of the night anymore by some 6 legged creature. I am not certain what happened to Turner Pest Control, but they do not appear to be as efficient as they were when I first contracted them for our home. UPDATE: The manager did call me today, Sept. 4, and he was very pleasant and was interested in trouble shooting the matter. I do appreciate that. I try to be fair in reviews, so I wanted to let anyone reading this know that my mailbox was full, I called back but it appears he did not receive that message. Perhaps their new products are not as effective - they are trouble shooting, but I do appreciate the customer service I received regarding this matter. Thank you.

I have used Turner for the past 10 years. I found termites around my home and Turner offered the best package. I had to take a 10 year contract with them in order to get the great price they offered for the initial treatment. That was fine as I was going to need coverage anyway. Most of my annual visits have gone well with one very big exception. One of the inspectors told me I had water damage to my back door, not termites, and he would come back later to fix it for me. The cost - $125. I stupidly handed over the cash and to make a long story short, I never saw him again. I called Turner who said I had to call him, which I did many times. The company did not want to help and I have never received my money back. I had to find someone else to fix my back door frame. My visit this year did not show up at the appointed time. He was seemingly in a workshop and I was given a new time. He arrived 20 minutes early for that one. He was pleasant and thorough . I could not be told when my contract was up for renewal, how much another treatment would cost, and I was unable to make my payment because of busy lines. I am very unsure whether I will renew with Turner or not.

I spoke to the President of the company about this and he went back in our software history to recall the incident. It was noted you contracted an employee of ours to do some work on the side for you but he never showed or performed the work. As a result of you calling us to let us know, that employee was then terminated. It appeared this happened in 2009 and those records are in storage but we were able to pull his employee file and it shows we deducted what was owed from his pay check however we don't show if we ever reimbursed you for it. As discussed when I spoke to you, you will be receiving a check for $125. We also spoke to your current technician and he said your renewal is in 2017 so we apologize if there was a miscommunication there.
